Among others, the series features Alison Larkin, adoptee and creator/performer of The English American, her wildly successful stage production and CD about adoption and her reunion with her American birthmother.

Alison performed her one woman comedy The English American on February 26, 2003 at 6:15pm at The 'Best of Both Worlds Conference' at The Jurys Ballsbridge Hotel - Dublin, Ireland. "The Best of Both Worlds" served to introduce the Adoption Excellence Institute and set a precedent of taking the good from the past and the best of the present to help shape the future for the family of adoption.
